WordPress is probably the world's best blogging platform, with more than 1.2million downloads. Unfortunately the only way to actually use it is by hosting it yourself. That means finding a suitable host, building databases, uploading all the files, installing it, setting up configuration... and well, it's just a bit confusing and tedious to a lot of people. One of the alternatives is the commercial version of WordPress which has tonnes of restrictions stopping you from using a theme you really like, or putting adverts on your space. I really don't like that idea at all...
One option is to get me to install and upgrade it for you for a one off fee, but that still leaves you with finding a friendly host and having to becareful you don't use too much bandwidth and get charged for it... The better idea would be to use my WordPress hosting service.
